I/ ABOUT US
Fabrication simply means the act of making. For us, the making isn’t an afterthought — it’s the heart of the
process. Instead of starting with endless sketches or chasing trends, we begin by working hands-on with
materials and techniques. That’s where ideas reveal themselves.
It also means we’re free to experiment
— with different materials, forms, and shapes — to create objects that feel meaningful, not just decorative.
It’s a way of designing that’s curious, experimental, and rooted in craft, so every piece carries the story of
how it was made.
FabFolly is a mix of two words that capture who we are. Fab stands for fabrication (and yes, sometimes
fabulous too) — the making, experimenting, and hands-on side of what we do. Folly is about creativity that
doesn’t always stick to the rules. In architecture, a folly is a small, often whimsical structure — like a
tower or pavilion in a garden — created not for utility but simply to bring delight. That ties back
beautifully to the architect half of our duo.
For us, FabFolly is about curiosity, experimentation, and
the courage to make things simply because they spark wonder. Everything we create is meant to be both
functional and beautiful — and always, it carries a piece of us and the joy of making.
FabFolly is run by a husband-and-wife team. He is an architect by profession, contributing his design eye to
the forms you see here — often in the evenings and weekends, outside of his full-time work. I left my
corporate career to dedicate myself fully to building the studio, shaping the business side and guiding its
vision.
It’s a partnership built on a shared love of design, aligned values, attention to detail,
curiosity, and those late-night conversations that bring ideas to life. Together, we aim to create objects
that feel both thoughtful and enduring.
If you’d like to see more of that process, we share glimpses of
our journey on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — from experiments and making-of moments to the everyday
realities of growing a small studio.
For now, we’re pouring all our energy into lamps. Once we’ve lit up that chapter, more objects will follow. Think of this as just the opening scene — and if you’re curious, you’ll spot the hints first on our social.
II/ ORDERS
It’s simple: choose your item, add it to your cart, apply any discount code you may have, and checkout securely. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll begin making it especially for you.
Because we’re a small studio, each lamp is made to order. Pre-orders allow us to create only what’s truly wanted, avoiding unnecessary stock and waste. It also gives us the freedom to keep experimenting with new ideas. Think of it as slow design: more intentional, more meaningful.
From the moment you place your order, we aim to ship within 2 weeks. Every piece is made in small batches, and it’s first-come, first-served. We’ll always try to send it sooner when possible — but we’d rather take the time to get it right than rush something into a box.
III/ SHIPPING & RETURNS
We’d love for our pieces to find homes wherever they’re wanted. At the moment, we ship to the UK and EU only. If you’re outside these regions, please don’t hesitate to DM us. We’ll do our best to explore a suitable shipping option for you.
We’d love to offer free delivery everywhere, but for now it’s only possible within the UK. For the EU, we’ve set a flat rate of £10, and for the rest of the world, £15 — a way to keep our pieces within reach no matter where you are.
If you’re in the EU, no. For other countries, customs fees may apply depending on local regulations. If you’re unsure, please reach out — we’ll happily check and assist you as best as we can.
Once your item is dispatched, you’ll receive a Royal Mail tracking number so you can follow its journey to your doorstep. If you haven’t received your tracking email, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to resend it.
We offer 14-day returns within the UK. For international orders, unfortunately, returns are not possible due to the complexities of cross-border shipping. That said, if something isn’t right, please contact us — we’ll always try to find a fair solution.
We pack every order with care, but if your lamp arrives damaged, let us know right away and we’ll make it right. If a parcel ever goes missing, we’ll work with you and our courier to resolve it as quickly as possible.
